Restorative Dentistry

Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry

You will note that there are many alternative procedures and materials. We will discuss with you the advantages/disadvantages of each.

We can restore anything from one missing tooth to your entire mouth. If you’re tired of removable dentures, ask us about the possibility of implant-supported and retained replacements.

  • Fillings
Your fillings can be tooth-colored composite resin or silver amalgam.

  • Inlays/onlays
These can be fabricated from gold or tooth-colored porcelain.

  • Crowns
New crowns can be tooth colored porcelain, porcelain fused to gold, or gold.

  • Veneers
Veneers are fabricated from tooth-colored porcelain and bonded to your tooth.

  • Composite Resin Veneers
These are a less expensive alternative to porcelain.

  • Fixed Bridges
These are most often either porcelain fused to gold or gold. Some newer all-porcelain systems show promise but fracture resistance remains a problem.

Note: Dr. Evans requires his laboratory support personnel to certify that they do not outsource anything to foreign or discount domestic labs.
