Dr. Evans celebrated a high school reunion in Red Lodge Montana in 1995 by riding his Harley Davidson from Alaska to Montana and back. A memorable trip. He caught and released the world-record fly-caught Steelhead Trout at an unnamed river in British Columbia, Canada in 1995. The fish measured 44” long and 24” girth and was quickly released. The record held for over 10 years; an outstanding replica mount is on display in Dr. Evans’ office. Amateur outdoor photography has been an ongoing interest for many years. Many of the photographs on this site are by Dr. Evans. He recently completed a photo trip to Midway Island, renewing a fondness for Midway and its avian inhabitants from his Navy flying days. Dr. Evans is married, has two grown children, four grandkids, and two German Shepherd dogs.
